Subway

From: reuters.com

I'm pretty sure everyone would assume that a "footlong" sub was a foot long, Subway.

Bad quote

I'm assuming the panel used the word, "words," not "worlds," but you never know.

A cookbook of misspellings?

First of all, I applaud the cookie idea; however, I believe the idea was stolen from Hershey's Web site. Regardless, the cookie deserves a standing ovation.

Secondly, I'm confused about someone publishing a cookbook when they can't even spell. "They're," "their," and "there" are all separate words with separate meanings. Additionally, it's important when one is referencing a branded product to spell the name of the brand correctly. Although I agree that the rules of grammar would dictate that it should be "Peppermint Patty," the name of the brand is actually "Peppermint Pattie."

Maybe I should publish a cookbook.
